New JP Rath Trombones Revealed

AFTER month's of secrecy we can now reveal another JP Rath collaboration - two Bb/F tenor trombones!

As many will know the JP231RATH Bb tenor trombone quickly made a big impact in the marketplace with students and teachers. It even impressed in professional circles (two of these are on tour with Seal right now). The recent introduction of its sister model, the JP230 RATH (medium bore) was met with similar approval.

For many months there have been rumours about the development of Bb/F models of a similar level of sophistication and performance and we have had many people asking 'are they ready yet?' We're delighted to now add two more JP RATH trombones to our range. You can rest assured that these new instruments will represent remarkable value for money.

Michael Rath is someone for whom high standards are paramount and his involvement from concept to end product is the key to the success of this collaboration. Mick has been working at our factory with the technicians who make the instruments to ensure that they make them exactly as he does.

The JP331RATH and JP332RATH Bb/Trombone will be launched onto the world stage at the International Trombone Festival on July 7th in Austin, Texas. They will be available from September.

The JP331RATH is a medium large bore (0.525") instrument and the JP332RATH has a large bore (0.547") and both carry the benefits of Michael Rath's enormous experience.
