John Packer Ltd. has won 'Best Growth Business 2018' at the Taunton Deane Business Awards.
A team of staff from John Packer collected the award at a ceremony held at the Somerset County Cricket Club.
Company Directors Rob Hanson and Annie Gardner, were collecting their Queen's Award from HRH Prince Charles in Buckingham Palace when the ceremony took place. On winning both the Business Prize and the Queen's Award Rob Hanson said: "I am very proud today. The last couple of years have been amazing for myself and all of the John Packer team. It’s been a lot of hard work by everyone and this is just the beginning. Bring on the rest of 2018 and beyond!"
Despite the sharp decline in music education funding over the last few years - which the company previously relied upon - John Packer has seen significant growth over the last two years, owing to increased exporting of own brand 'JP Musical Instruments' to a global dealer network.
JP Musical Instruments are now supplied to more than 50 countries via a network of over 300 dealers. The company also has a fulfilment warehouse in the US alongside two UK warehouses.
