The JP125 C clarinet is ideal for young beginners who cannot manage the weight or more complex key-work of the standard Bb models. This clarinet uses a Bb clarinet mouthpiece, reed and ligature. This clarinet benefits from having a rich warm sound generated by the ebonite body and because of the reduced keywork makes this smaller and lighter than other C clarinets. By missing off some of the alternative keys it removes the complexity from learning whilst maintaining the note range. This keywork is finished in a strong nickel plate which makes this a reliable instrument for use at home or in the classroom environment.
Included as part of the outfit is a standard JP student mouthpiece which is responsive and free-blowing. The fabric case is compact and pocketed in order to store small accessories. Also included is a pull-through.
