The precision keywork will enable fluency and agility in virtuosic playing and will enhance and make easier general technique. This clarinet produces a warm, slightly dark sound and produces a variety of colours throughout all the registers. It also has good clarity, especially around the throat notes.
I thoroughly enjoyed playing this clarinet and I recommend it highly.
Included as part of the outfit is a JP student mouthpiece which is responsive and free-blowing.
The fabric covered hard case is compact with an outside pocket which can store small accessories. The built in backpack strap offers greater ease of portability and can be stored away when not in use. Also included is a pull-through, ligature + cap set, cork grease and a sample reed.
